Hello, wonderful parents! I present to you a baby girl Clothing/Blankets/Shoes Giveaway!

The sizes range from 3-24 Months in various Items! I would love to see these items go to someone who either has a baby girl or is expecting a baby girl! Some of these items are gender neutral! And some have just a bit of wear to them but they still look good! I will be noting which have some wear!

Birth. If that counts. Im obsessed with birth.
If it doesn’t count,then I’d say when the baby moves. It’s so insane to imagine those little limbs moving and knowing its all inside my tummy. And i feel so connected to her when she moves.

This is hard because there are SO many things that add up to a successful marriage. But mainly: communication. Without communication my husband and i would have no idea what the other was thinking,feeling,needing,etc. There are so many other answers to this but communication is definitely my #1 answer.

I’ll give you guys the run down of how my pregnancy is so you can take guesses! I feel like I’m carrying lower than my last pregnancy, when I had Anna. I’ve had morning sickness off and on during the pregnancy. I have not been overly tired. My face keeps breaking out. Ugh.

32 week checkup!

It went great. We met a new midwife and talked about birth plans and positions to birth in because of my 4th degree. The best would be on my side or all 4s. So,a full water birth may not be in our cards but we’ll just play it by ear. Its not impossible to birth in those positions in the water,just harder. But for the best interest of not tearing again,I’ll keep my options open to anything.

Heart rate was great,measuring on track,she’s sideways with her head below my ribs so she’s probably making her way to being head down. I’ve gained 19lbs so far which sounds about right,like it was with Kate. Blood pressure is great as usual. Everythings lookin good!
Next appointment is scheduled in 2 weeks @ 34weeks then another at 36weeks for an ultrasound to check position of baby girl.

We’re getting soooo close!!!! We’re so excited to meet this beautiful girl :)

Baby girl had a bad reaction to the soy milk,no surprise. It destroyed her tum tum bringing acidic poop 5 times today;leaving her with an awful,painful rash. She not only screams but shakes during diaper changes. Its been a day full of crankiness,tears,cuddles,nakey time, rinsing her in the shower instead of wiping and Calmoseptine cream.
So it was a warm oatmeal and baking soda bath tonight. She is thankfully asleep and we’ll be going in to change her diaper sometime tonight whether she wakes up for it or not.
My poor baby girl. Only good thing about this? Mommy and daddy got lots and lots of cuddles and hugs today. They seemed to make her feel better too,even just for a few minutes.

Yes!!

white flour – 1 cup
salt – 2 tbsp
cream of tartar – 2 tbsp
cooking oil – 2 tbsp
warm water – 1 cup
Jello – 1 3oz pack

You mix all of that together,throw it into a pot,cook it on low-medium heat while stirring. Once it turns into a thick ball you put it in wax paper or a pan to cool. Once its completely cooled you kneed it like bread with some flour! It can burn easily so you have to keep stirring and it has to be completely cooled before kneading or it’ll be sticky

It should be a fun family day! Although the weather report says it’s supposed to rain/storm we’re gonna make the most of it. We’ll hang out outside before the rain hits and once it does we’ll find some fun stuff to do inside!

I made her Jello playdough tonight and mixed up some paint as well. So we’ve got those 2 things to explore with tomorrow and a few other sensory activities that are easy to come by in a jiffy if it starts to rain. There’s this thing going on downtown tomorrow called “Rock the Baby”. It’s put on by the local La Leche League and is supposedly tons of fun. Vendors,food trucks,silent auctions,bouncy house,live music,etc. We may stop by and have some fun if it’s A. not postponed because of rain and B. not too humid,hot or muggy.

I may have Jeremy take Kaitlyn out by himself for a bit so I can get some cleaning done. I’ve gotta find space in our room again for a glider for when baby #2 arrives and I’m trying to create more of an actual play space for Kate in the living room instead of just having her toys wherever she wants to throw them at the moment lol

Because her dad is with both. We’ve started the transition off of formula (yes,she’s 13 months and we should’ve started at 12 but we’ve been doing it very slowly since she shares her dad’s stomach issues) We’re trying soy first because the milk based formula began to effect her tummy and we switched to soy a while back and it seemed to help a ton. So we decided to try soy milk first.

But what happens if that hurts her tummy too?! What’s left?!

Practical life- Pouring activity

I presented this activity to Turt when she was 11 months old. The aim of this activity was to prepare her for this activity to ‘help her to help herself’. M.Montessori believed before going straight into the deep end, we must first take steps to prepare ourselves. This was a preparation activity.

Here Turt pours beans from one cup to another cup. Turt enjoyed this, she even began using it as an opportunity to transfer beans from one cup to another; transferring activity.

We then began to use this as a sorting activity, sorting the lentils from the kidney beans, in different cups, Turt caught on pretty fast!

It wasn’t long before Turt was scooping away happily at the beans, pouring them in one cup and into another cup and as you can see Coco would eat up any beans that had ended up on the floor behind her lol.

At first she went too fast and the beans would spill. I had to remind her to slow down, but she got better with practice. It required a lot of concentration, but she loved pouring the beans back and forth. She worked on this for quite some time. I would highly recommend this activity for other toddlers.

Turt and I will defiantly revisit this activity soon.

This activity is good for Concentration, hand eye coordination, patience, hand control, eye convergence.

I’ve been wanting to do this with Kaitlyn! But with something she can easily eat,maybe cooked beans,cause she is almost guaranteed to eat the activity lol

She’ll take her Duplo train and one of the little people and put the person in and push it toward another person piece and say “hi,hi,hi” and I’ve even heard her trying to make the train noise I make when I play with her.
She also started putting things in her plastic pans and stir it with her spoon like she’s cooking.
I’m so glad she’s picking up on it because imaginative play is soooo important.
